Medical Information System (MIS) developed in C Programming Language so that the user can enter patient information, medical information. System will store this information in .DAT data file. User can search, update and delete this information.

AbstractThis MIS - Medical Information System can be used in small dispensary, doctor clinic to manage patient medical history information. We have studied P2P MediClinic for their manual record keeping system. Some of the problems associated with the above mentioned manual process are listed below:

• The patient registration form may lost and searching of details are time consuming. 
• The form is prone to weariness due to which the institute / organisation may not be able to read data in it after some years.
• Searching of medical history is time consuming and take lots of man efforts..

To overcome these problems, it is proposed to develop a software titled Medical Information System (MIS) which is desktop application, GUI based menu driven application developed in C programming. System is developed in C programming, this dos based application can run on any windows operating system and dose not required any supporting or licenses software to run. Although it is DOS based application however user can operate all the menu and option by using mouse.
